JCC’s organic co-op accepting registrations until Jan. 31

The Jewish Community Center’s Hazon CSA program is accepting registrations until Jan. 31. The CSA offers participants the chance to receive fresh, nutritious, organic produce each week. Hazon CSA is the only Jewish Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Project in St. Louis. Participants pre-purchase a share of a farmer’s produce for an entire growing season.  For a one-time payment of $636 for J members, ($650 for the general public), participants can pick up 7 to 10 pounds of assorted weekly produce mid-May through the end of October at one of three locations.  Leftover produce will be donated to needy families.

For more information contact Sara Winkelman at [email protected] or visit www.jccstl.com. Hazon CSA is chaired by Lesley Hoffman and coordinated by the JCC Helene Mirowitz Center of Jewish Community Life.
