The Jewish Community Center is offering new classes in January at the Marilyn Fox Building in Chesterfield – a children’s art class and a program for new moms.
“The Oys and Joys of Parenthood” is for new moms and children under one year of age and runs for six weeks on Thursdays from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m., beginning Jan. 20.
Each week, a different speaker will talk to parents about topics such as sleep schedules, infant massage, how to raise children in a Jewish home, baby sign language and more.
“Noah’s Art” is a drop-off class for 3 to 5 year olds on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 p.m., from Jan. 18 through Feb. 22. Children will create one-of-a-kind masterpieces using a variety of materials and art techniques.
