Dave Simon’s Rock School is joining forces with the JCC to bring rock ‘n’ roll to children in the Chesterfield area. “Kidzrock,” an innovative rock band program for ages 4 to 9, is now being offered at the JCC West. Kidzrock incorporates a color-coded system for teaching children how to read music and play the electric guitar, drums andkeyboards. The program creates a fun environment for learning and discovering the thrill of playing in a real rock band. Founder Dave Simon believes, “one is never too young to rock ‘n’ roll.” Kidzrock will be offered at the JCC (Fox) from Sept. 19-Nov. 15 with a concert to be held Nov. 18 at Dave Simon’s Rock School in Olivette.
