Jewish Federation of St. Louis announced it has booked award-winning actor, singer and comedian Jason Alexander of “Seinfeld” fame to headline its Thrive LIVE! Gala — a donor appreciation event — at 7 p.m. on April 28.
“Thrive LIVE! is a great way to say thank you to all the people who have helped create and maintain a thriving Jewish community in St. Louis,” said Andrew Rehfeld, Federation President and CEO.
Federation Chair Bob Millstone agreed. “We are grateful for the generosity and caring spirit of our donors, whose contributions help to make our community strong and vibrant. We are proud of the impact they have and are honored to work with them in executing our mission.”
Thrive LIVE! is chaired by the three branches of the Newmark family, Michael and Barbara, Bob and Kara and Jennifer and John.
Alexander, best known for his role as George on TV’s “Seinfeld,” is also a Tony Award-winning singer and dancer, and he will entertain the donors with his many talents. Tickets to the gala, which will be held at the Peabody Opera House, will go on sale at the end of February and will be available to anyone who donates to the Federation’s Annual Campaign at any level.
This is the first in a series of events in 2013 and 2014 that will bring the St. Louis Jewish community together to celebrate thriving together and experience fun and family. Other Thrive LIVE! events will take place later in 2013 and 2014.
Saint Louis University Hospital is a silver level sponsor of Thrive LIVE! Additional sponsorships are available.
