J Associates will pair eight St. Louis “favorites” with professional dancers for its annual Dancing in the Loop event Saturday, March 7 at The Pageant. 

Paired with professional dancers from Simply Ballroom will be: 

• Jimmy Deutch, president and CEO of Smith Moore

• Michelle Hoberman, realtor with Coldwell Banker Gundaker – Town & Country

• W. Ted Isaacs, financial advisor with IFG Advisors LLC

• Maxine Mirowitz, registered yoga teacher/doctor of optometry

• Ken Rubin, partner of RubinBrown LLP

• Toby Warticovschi, partner of Millstone Capital Advisors (also a Trustee of the Jewish Light)

• Janie Roodman Weiss, program nurse manager with Gateway to Hope

• Jenny Wolkowitz, camp advisor with Tips on Trips and Camps (and Past-President of the Light). 

The evening will be emceed by Jewish Light Editor Ellen Futterman. Guest judges are Dan Gray, Winner of Dancing in the Loop, 2011; David Hoffmann, Winner of Dancing in the Loop, 2010; and Kathy Huss, Owner of Merle Scheff School of Dance. Dinner will be catered by Tavalo V. 

Proceeds from Dancing in the Loop are allocated to various departments at the J, and are used for scholarships and other program needs. Touching all faiths, races and ages, from infants to the elderly, the J Associates raise funds for home delivered meals for homebound seniors, Theatre Unlimited for adults with special needs and scholarships that allow children to attend the J’s Early Childhood Center and summer camps.
