Interfaith memorial to victims of terror in France planned

The St. Louis Rabbinical Association (SLRA), in collaboration with the Michael and Barbara Newmark Institute for Human Relations of the Jewish Community Relations Council, will hold “We Are: A Multi-Faith Memorial to the Victims of Terror in France” from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19 at Kol Rinah, 829 N. Hanley. Featured will be Reverend C. Jessel Strong, Chair, Cabinet of Interfaith Partnership; Mufti Asif Umar, Imam of Islamic Foundation of Greater St. Louis; Rabbi James Goodman, President of SLRA; Fr. Joseph Weber, Chair of the Ecumenical & Interreligious Affairs Commission for the Archdiocese of St. Louis; and St. Louis poet laureate Michael Castro. The event is free and open to the community.
