The St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum recently announced the appointment of five new board members and the election of its officers for 2025.
Greg Yawitz has been elected the new chair of the board of directors, succeeding Carol Staenberg, who will remain on the board as past chair. Yawitz is a past board chair of Autism Speaks, Jewish Federation of St. Louis and Congregation Shaare Emeth.
Newly appointed to the board of directors are Nancy Keyser, Matt Berman, Dave Hageman, Craig Rosenthal and Cheryle Atkin. Each brings a unique background in community service, business leadership and nonprofit engagement, strengthening the Museum’s ability to serve as a vital cultural and educational resource for the region.
“These board appointments come at a pivotal moment for the Museum as we continue to grow our educational programs, launch new exhibitions and deepen our impact in the fight against antisemitism and hate,” said Myron Freedman, executive director of the Holocaust Museum. “We are fortunate to have such accomplished individuals join our leadership team.”
The museum’s 2025 board officers are:

• Vice Chair Governance and Recruitment / Secretary: Clint Zweifel
• Vice Chair Finance: Nicky Stern
• Vice Chair Communications: Diane Kalishman
• Vice Chair Development: Chrissy Laycob.
