The St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum has opened applications for the fall grant cycle of the Rubin and Gloria Feldman Family Educational Institute, which funds projects focused on the history and lessons of the Holocaust.
Grants of up to $5,000 are available to eligible individuals and organizations through the Institute’s online portal. Applications are due Nov. 17, with recipients to be announced in early December.

Established to support programs that reject hatred, promote understanding and inspire change, the Feldman Institute funds educational and artistic initiatives that explore the Holocaust’s history and legacy or apply its lessons to contemporary social and ethical issues. Projects may also seek to foster dialogue across racial, religious, and cultural lines or address antisemitism, racism and other forms of discrimination.
The Institute gives priority to projects that benefit Missouri and the broader Midwest region. Grants are awarded to nonprofit and educational institutions; individual educators may apply but funds are distributed through their affiliated organizations. The program does not support capital improvements or general operating expenses.
“These funds will create lasting change by supporting projects designed to educate the community and beyond about the history of the Holocaust and its lessons,” said Myron Freedman, executive director of the museum.
