This year, the St. Louis Jewish Light is introducing a new feature – “Mitzvot from the Heart.” We will regularly feature St. Louis bar and bat mitzvah children and their mitzvah projects. This is the second installment of “Mitzvot from the Heart.” However, the Jewish Light needs the community’s participation to continue this feature.

By highlighting these projects, we hope to promote your child’s good deeds to the more than 20,000 Jewish Light readers. We hope many of them will want to support these projects.

If you would like the Jewish Light to feature your child’s mitzvah project, please e-mail us the following information:

* Child’s name

* Congregation

* School attending

* What is the mitzvah project?

* What inspired your child to choose this particular project/organization?

* Include any other pertinent information for the story such as what

did she get out of doing

* How can the Jewish Light readers support your child’s project?

* Include a high resolution .jpeg (300 dpi) photo of your child, preferably one connected to the project, or just a recent photo.
