Hebrew reading crash course in Chesterfield

Chabad of Chesterfield will offer a three-lesson Hebrew reading crash course, starting on Tuesday, April 5 at Chabad of Chesterfield, 1639 Clarkson Road. The 7:30 p.m. lessons continue Sunday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 12. The course is designed to teach those with little or no basic knowledge of the Hebrew language how to read Hebrew. The course focuses on teaching the Hebrew alphabet and reading skills. In three hour-long sessions, participants learn to read Hebrew and follow along in a prayer book. All students will receive a Hebrew primer and an audio workbook, which will enable them to practice reading at home. The cost of the three-lesson course is $54 per person (includes primer). No one will be turned away because of lack of money. For details or to register, email [email protected].

An optional fourth class will be offered, for an additional $18.
