Dr. Willam Danforth will be honored for his role in the passage of the Missouri Stem Cell Amendment in 2006 at “Framing the Future,” a fundraiser for Hadassah. The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26 at the Danforth Plant Science Center, 975 N. Warson Road.

Speaking at the event will be Professors Benjamin Reubinoff and Shlomo Mor Yosef, from Hadassah’s Medical Organization in Jerusalem. They will share the great strides that are being made with embryonic stem cell research.

The evening will be an extraordinary opportunity to hear about emerging treatments for seriously debilitating diseases. A discussion will be followed by a seated dinner and Q&A.

Tickets range from $250 to $500 per person, with various sponsorships levels also available. Honorary Chairs of the event are Sam and Marilyn Fox and Event Chairs are Paul and Diane Gallant.
