St. Louis University’s Dr. George T. Grossberg, a longtime leader in geriatric psychiatry and a recognized member of the St. Louis Jewish community, is featured in a new episode of Medical Stories, a health-focused docuseries now available to stream on YouTube and other digital platforms.

The episode, titled “Pieces of the Past,” explores the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease through the lens of families navigating memory loss with love and resilience. Grossberg appears alongside other leading medical professionals to provide insight into the diagnosis, treatment, and emotional toll of dementia. He currently serves as the Inaugural Henry & Amelia Nasrallah Endowed Professor and Director of Geriatric Psychiatry at SLU School of Medicine.
A graduate of the H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy and former honoree of the school’s annual gala, Grossberg has remained deeply connected to the St. Louis Jewish community throughout his career. He is also the recipient of the International Psychogeriatric Association’s Distinguished Service Award and has played a key role in the development of the first FDA-approved treatment for agitation in Alzheimer’s patients.
