This March, Jewish Federation launched a first-time initiative to involve the community in a fun and interactive fundraising campaign. The “March Mashugana” tournament asked participants to submit a bracket to a group pool for a minimum donation of $18. The grand prize allowed first-place winner, Robert Heideman, senior loan officer at Cornerstone Mortgage and YPD board member, to designate the nearly $1,000 raised through the tournament to Federation’s Jewish St. Louis—2020 Fund. The fund provides innovative programs to serve, attract, and retain Jewish young adults and young families with children.
