EVENTS INTIMACY TO BE YPD EVENT TOPIC

“Kosher Sex…A Jewish Perspective on Intimacy & the Sexes” will be hosted by the Young Professionals Division of Jewish Federation on Wednesday, March 5, from 7-9 p.m. at The Plaza in Clayton.

Guest speakers, Rabbi Stephen Weil, senior rabbi of Beth Jacob Orthodox Synagogue in Beverly Hills, Calif., and his wife Yael, will talk about the topic of intimacy and sex. The Weils, who will examine the many ways in which men and women differ, have been married 19 years and are the parents of seven children.

Rabbi Weil has addressed groups across North America and Europe. A graduate of Yeshiva University, he earned an MBA in finance from New York University. Rabbi Weil is the 2007-2008 Scholar-in-Residence for the National Young Leadership Cabinet of the United Jewish Communities. He has delivered invocations on numerous occasions and been honored by President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Beverly Hills Mayors Steve Webb and Jimmy Delshad.

Cost is $5. There will be a martini reception. Dietary laws will be observed.
