Epstein plans ‘Taste of Kosher St. Louis’ event, raffle

Epstein Hebrew Academy will hold ‘Taste of Kosher St. Louis,’ at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23.  The event is a new kosher food extravaganza featuring three of St. Louis’ top kosher caterers: Asian cuisine by Jon Rubin, Middle Eastern cuisine by Lenny Kohn and Italian cuisine by Bon Appetite.

Event proceeds will directly support children’s education at Epstein. Admission is $15 for adults with advance RSVP or $18 at the door; $8 for children with RSVP or $10 at the door. Call 314-994-7856 to RSVP.

Epstein will also hold a raffle to benefit the school’s scholarship program. Raffle tickets are $10 (six tickets for $50; 13 tickets for $100) and the raffle prizes include fun items and events. First place winner will receive an iPad; second prize: Amazon Kindle; third prize: a high-definition Flip Video Camera; fourth through sixth place winners will receive two VIP tickets to a St. Louis Blues game on Dec. 26, Jan. 22 or Feb. 14 ($235 value each).
