Epstein holds annual Scholastic Book Fair

Families looking for Hanukkah gifts can visit Epstein Hebrew Academy’s annual Book Fair Nov. 18-29.The Book Fair will be open according to the following schedule: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18; 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19; 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, Nov. 21; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23; 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24; and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29. There will be books for all ages including teens, pre-schoolers and adults as well as a variety of games, posters, small toys and gift items available for purchase.  

From 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29 the Book Fair will feature a pajama party for preschoolers and movie night for elementary/middle school children. In conjunction with the Book Fair, Epstein is seeking gently used or new books that will be boxed and delivered to Ready Readers, a St. Louis charity providing free children’s books to preschool kids and promoting reading readiness for at-risk children. There will be a box outside the library for donations.
