ElderLink support group for caregivers to meet through April
Published February 6, 2013
In addition to its free referral services for older adults, their children and caregivers, ElderLink St. Louis will again hold its popular caregiver support groups, which are free and open to the community.
“The caregiver support groups are an important part of our mission to answer questions and provide referrals to Baby Boomers who are facing a myriad of issues as they care for their aging loved ones,” said Marcia Mermelstein, senior information referral specialist at ElderLink. “Through a JCA (Foundation) grant, we are excited to offer these helpful and information groups free of charge.”
To make these groups as convenient as possible, ElderLink is offering participants their choice of locations and times:
Tuesdays, Feb. 19, 26 and March 5, 12, 7-8:30 p.m., at Congregation Shaare Emeth, 11645 Ladue Road.
Mondays, April 8, 15, 22, 29, 7-8:30 p.m., at Shaare Zedek Synagogue, 829 N. Hanley Road.
There will be different sets of discussion topics at each location, and participants can attend either or both of these groups. Although the caregiver support groups are free of charge, preregistration is requested by contacting ElderLink St. Louis, 314-812-9300 or [email protected].
