Crown Center celebrates ‘Arts, Aging & All That Jazz’

Jake and Hilary Cedergreen and David Lang and Suzanne Epstein-Lang are co-chairs of Crown Center’s ‘Arts, Aging & All That Jazz’ event on Nov. 19.

Crown Center for Senior Living will be hold “Arts, Aging & All That Jazz” from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Nov. 19 at Soulard Preservation Hall, 1921 S. 9th St.

This event will celebrate the establishment of the Senior Arts Project, which aims to bring participatory arts programming to older adults regardless of their financial circumstances. 

The event will honor Crown Center’s Council of Life members: Les Borowsky, Jeffrey Cohen, Ted Flom, Betsy Garland, Randy Green, Petie Karsh, Joe Marchbein, Merle Miller, Jeff Rosenblum, Steven Rosenblum, Richard Tallin and Miriam Wilhelm.

 A recognition award will be presented to Lynn Friedman Hamilton, founder of Maturity and Its Muse for promoting positive and productive aging through the arts.

 Entertainment will feature Nancy Kranzberg as well as Jazz St. Louis All-Stars.
