This year Bais Abraham Congregation is offering a complimentary six-month membership to anyone who contacts the synagogue to register for a High Holiday seat.  High Holiday seats at Bais Abraham are free of charge.  

The idea came from Bais Abraham’s board in response to some in the Jewish community who may feel guilty about attending High Holiday services without belonging to a synagogue.  

“We did not want lack of membership to hold people back from an engaging and fulfilling High Holiday experience,” said Rabbi Hyim Shafner of Bais Abraham.  “We have learner’s services, children’s services, complimentary baby sitting, and various classes during the High Holidays so that even if one is unfamiliar with the Hebrew prayers there is something for every level.”
