Two to be presented with BJC Nursing awards

The Barnes-Jewish College of Nursing’s President’s Award will be presented Thursday evening, Sept. 14, to Norma Stern and Shirley Cohen during a dinner-fashion show at the Frontenac Hilton Hotel. The evening is part of a three-day event planned for Sept. 14-16 to celebrate the formation of a joint alumni association for graduates from both the Barnes and Jewish nursing programs and the building of a new facility. Holocaust Museum brunch will open garden

The Holocaust Museum Kopolow Memorial Garden in Creve Coeur will celebrate its opening with a brunch at 11 a.m. and a dedication cemremony at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17. The brunch will be in the Jewish Community Center auditorium. The cost is $30 per person. CAJL Hebrew classes to be offered for adults

Celebration planned to prepare for holidays
