Museum continues film series

The Holocaust Museum and Learning Center monthly film series will feature A Jew Among the Germans at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, in the Holocaust Museum Theater in the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building. In this film, director, producer and writer Marian Marzynski, a child survivor of the Holocaust in Poland, confronts his 60 years of fear and distrust for the German people. Forum on image of Muslims

United Hebrew Congregation will sponsor a forum at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28 in the Messing Auditorium. The program is titled The Image of Muslims in the Media. Gulten Ilhan, associate professor of Humanities and Global Studies Coordinator at Meramec Community College, will speak. A dessert reception will follow the program. Bais Abraham Shabbat

Cardozo Society lecture

Nigerian human rights attorney Hauwau Ibrahim, noted for her groundbreaking defense of a woman sentenced to death by stoning for having a child out of wedlock, will address Jewish Federation’s Cardozo Society from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, in the home of Tom and Jennifer Hillman. Ibrahim is currently a visiting professor at Saint Louis University School of Law. The event is free. Used Book Sale scheduled

The annual Used Jewish Book Sale will be held at the Saul Brodsky Jewish Community Library from Sunday, Dec. 3 through Tuesday, Dec. 12. UH will hold discussion

The United Hebrew Israel Committee will sponsor a dinner and discussion with Galit Lev-Harir, a member of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) Israel Speakers Bureau at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, in the Jablon Youth Lounge.
