Melton registration opens

Registration is open for classes at The Florence Melton Adult Mini-School. Shoebat to speak Aug. 30

Hadassah sets mission

Hadassah will be hosting a special four-day mission to Israel, leaving Aug. 7 from New York. The mission will have high-security escorts, and will include a visit to the town of Haifa in Northern Israel. The cost is $1,000 which includes airfare from New York, hotel and most meals. JWV is seeking bowlers

The Jewish War Veterans bowling league, established over 50 years ago, is looking for bowlers to join our league. The league is open to both men and women. Teams and individuals are welcome. Our season starts Sunday, August 20 at Strike & Spare Lanes, 1309 N. Lindbergh at 9 a.m. Bowling fees are $12 per week. The season is 30 weeks long, split into two fifteen-week halves with a championship roll off and season ending awards presentation. Joel Iskiwitch, senior vice-president of Reinsurance Group of America, has been elected president of The Scholarship Foundation board of directors.
