In a world where words can build up or tear down, “Clean Speech St. Louis” is back with its fourth installment, “Ahavas Chesed | Words of Kindness.” This year’s initiative couldn’t be more timely, aiming to foster more compassion, understanding and connection within the community—one word at a time.
This year’s campaign introduces a new curriculum designed to help participants enhance their relationships and infuse their daily lives with shalom. For 30 days, participants will receive daily videos and lessons, all crafted to encourage mindful speech. Whether through social media, email updates or a printed booklet, the initiative is designed to meet people where they are—making it easy to take part in the movement. And yes, there’s swag. Expect Clean Speech St. Louis pens, stickers and even car magnets, all subtle reminders to bring more kindness into daily interactions.
With over 60 local organizations already on board, the campaign continues to grow, demonstrating a strong community commitment to fostering unity through speech. The effort will culminate with a community-wide conclusion event on March 30—details to be announced soon.
