Rabbi Larry Glestein, Director of Jewish Patient Care/Chaplain at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, will hold a pre-Shabbos get-together every Thursday evening for members of the community facing mental illness, cognitive challenges due to memory loss (or those with family members/friends facing these challenges) or someone you know who is isolated or alone. The program begins Thursday, Dec. 5 at Nusach Hari B’nai Zion, 650 N. Price Road in Olivette. The programs will take place from 6:30-7:15 p.m. every Thursday. A suggested donation is $5 to cover refreshments. Each session will include singing, insights and sharing. Glestein is a board-certified chaplain. For more information, call 314-504-6593.
