After a COVID hiatus, St. Louis’ #1 family pre-Hanukkah event will be back in-person and at full strength with the “The Home Depot Chanukah Experience” set to take place on Sunday, December 18 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at The Home Depot at 1603 S. Hanley Rd. in Brentwood.
Participants will receive a plastic “hard hat” and then craft their own unique menorah from wood and a host of other supplies available at The Home Depot. Hot latkes, Hanukkah swag, and holiday music are just some of the special items being prepared for the 2 hour hands-on celebration. Parents or grandparents accompany their children and there is no charge for attending.
Chabad of Greater St. Louis has partnered with The Home Depot for this program since 2008, and it has grown to become the top family pre-Hanukkah event in the region, with more than 500 people expected to attend.
“It’s exciting to be back in-person with this highly anticipated family event,” said Rabbi Yosef Landa, regional director of Chabad of Greater St. Louis. “What better way to celebrate Hanukkah than with a hands-on project that you can see, touch and build.”
