Chabad presents course on ethics

Chabad’s Academy of Jewish Learning will present “Living With Integrity: Navigating Everyday Ethical Dilemmas,” a new six-session course that will begin on Feb. 5 and run on six consecutive Tuesday evenings, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center Staenberg Family Complex – Arts & Education Building, 2 Millstone Campus Drive.

Rabbi Yosef Landa, of Chabad of Greater St. Louis, will conduct the course sessions.

The course will include real-life scenarios and will challenge students to articulate their own opinions, while providing practical Talmudic wisdom to help them navigate through life’s inevitable ethical challenges.

The course is offered by Chabad in partnership with the JCC. It has been accredited by the Missouri Bar for Continuing Legal Education credits, including legal ethics credits. The fee for the course is $69, which includes the course textbook. The course is designed to appeal to people at all levels of Jewish knowledge, including those without any prior experience or background in Jewish learning. Courses are open to the public, and attendees need not be affiliated with a particular synagogue or temple.

Interested students may call 314-725-0400 or visit www.myJLI.com for online registration and other course-related information.
