Chabad at Mizzou plans events for Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur

Chabad at Mizzou has announced a series of events and activities for the High Holidays. The schedule includes:
• Aug. 27 – The Shofar Factory. Hands on class to learn about the Shofar for the Jewish students at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
• Aug. 28 – Kabbalah Class. A lecture on the meaning of Rosh Hashanah from a Kabbalistic perspective.
• Sept. 4 – 7 p.m. Rosh Hashanah evening service followed by a holiday dinner.
• Sept. 5 – 9 a.m. Rosh Hashanah morning service and 11 a.m. Shofar blowing.
• Sept. 6 – Second day Rosh Hashanah morning service and 11 a.m. Shofar blowing.
• Sept. 13 – 7:30 p.m. Kol Nidrei service ushering in Yom Kippur.
• Sept. 14 – 10 a.m. Yom Kippur morning service; 11:30 a.m. Yizkor; 5:30 p.m. Afternoon service; 6:30 p.m. Neilah – Closing service of Yom Kippur; 8 p.m. gourmet break-fast.
