Shooby Doob Shloimy — the Jewish Superhero of the 21st Century — will present his show at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4. in the JCC Auditorium, 2 Millstone Campus Drive. Neve Shalom plans Goldman photo show
An exhibition of the “Forgotten Photographs of Paul Goldman, Chronicler of Israel,” will open at Neve Shalom gallery at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10. The photos will also be shown at the May Photography Gallery at Webster University through Friday, Sept. 22. Family violence is presentation topic
Ilene Joseph, president of the Jewish Council Against Family Violence, will address Shaare Zedek Sisterhood’s meeting on Sunday, Sept. 10, at Shaare Zedek, 829 North Hanley Road in University City. After a board meeting at 10 a.m., her presentation will begin at 11 a.m. There is no charge, but participants are asked to bring non-perishable food for the kosher kitchen in the Women’s Shelter. Chabad schedules talk on handwriting
Chabad of Greater St. Louis will kickoff its “Jewish Living and Learning Series” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, with a lecture on handwriting analysis by Roxanne Perri, a professional handwriting analyst, private investigator and family therapist. The event will be held at 7:30 pm at the Sheraton Clayton Plaza, 7730 Bonhomme Ave. in Clayton. Suggested donation $10.
Singles are invited to event
Jewish singles in their 40s and 50s are invited to a wine and cheese gathering at the Craft Alliance, 6640 Delmar Boulevard, from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17.
