CAJE is offering “Ancient Jewish Novels,” a course taught by Naomi Jacobs, a scholar most recently at Washington University. Students will explore lesser-known stories from the Jewish tradition; rereading and reconsidering stories that we thought we knew. This course will be divided into two units. Unit I, “Esther Like You’ve Never Seen Her Before” will run for three weeks, beginning Thursday, March 3. Unit 2, “Susanna and Bel the Dragon” will run for three weeks, beginning Thursday, May 5. Each session will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays at CAJE in the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building. The cost of each unit is $30.
