Published November 30, 2016
The sixth annual Brothers Lazaroff Hanukkah Hullabaloo will take place Saturday, Dec. 10 at Joe’s Cafe, 6014 Kingsbury Ave. (doors open at 7 p.m.). This year’s Hanukkah bash will feature Brothers David and Jeff Lazaroff, Rabbi James Stone Goodman and the Eight Nights Orchestra, DJ Boogieman, Lu Lu Seafood and Dim Sum Food Truck, free Urban Chestnut Brewing Company beer and free latkes fried on-stage.
There will be two sets interweaving tributes to the recently departed Leonard Cohen and 2016 Nobel Prize Winner Bob Dylan with the yearly performance of “Eight Nights,” an original series of poems by Rabbi James Stone Goodman backed by a band playing psychedelic jazz-influenced klezmer rock.
The event will also raise money and awareness for the American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri. The event is sponsored by Brown Smith Wallace with support from STL-Style and Urban Chestnut.
Admission is free and open to the public (although a $10 donation is suggested).
