Bolton event rescheduled; Marcia Clark to fill time slot

The publication date for Michael Bolton’s new book, “The Soul of it All” has been moved to January 2013. In place of Bolton’s talk at the Jewish Book Festival will be legal expert and trial lawyer Marcia Clark, author of the recent legal thriller “Guilt by Degrees.” She will be featured at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15. Clark will be interviewed on stage by Larry Levin, Publisher/CEO of the St. Louis Jewish Light. Admission is $15.

Since the 1990s the name Marcia Clark has been inextricably linked with the name O. J. Simpson. “Guilt by Degrees,” which was released in May 2012, is a follow up to Clark’s critically and popularly successful debut, “Guilt by Association.”  With her expertise in the nuances of L.A. courts and crime, she combines intimate detail, riotous humor, and visceral action securing her place as a major figure on the crime-writing scene.

The Nov. 15 closing night Wine & Cheese Reception for Festival Sponsors will be held as scheduled following Clark’s presentation.
