The young, spirited and talented members of the Israel Defense Forces Musical Ensemble will be featured in this year’s Magical Musical Moments 4 Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2 at the Congregation B’nai Amoona, 324 S. Mason Road. The 10-piece ensemble is comprised of a select group of singers and instrumentalists. Many of Israel’s top performers got their start singing in IDF ensembles. There are currently 15 troupes, all active soldiers, who perform on army bases, in major ceremonies and at special events throughout Israel and abroad.

The group’s latest CD contains such favorites as “Let’s Twist Again,” John Lennon’s “Imagine” (Hebrew/English version), an emotional rendition of “Jerusalem of Gold” and “My Yiddishe Mamma.”

Tickets are $18 for general admission, $36 for the reserved section, $36 and $72 for reserved seats. Special sponsorships are available, which include preferred reserved seats, special recognition and IDF CD. Reserved seats must be picked up at B’nai Amoona after 6:30 p.m. the evening of the performance; all other tickets can be picked up at B’nai Amoona.
