B’nai Amoona plans classes for Purim study

Congregation B’nai Amoona will hold classes on Purim topics from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on three successive Wednesdays: March 2, 9 and 16. The “Purim Paradigms” classes take place at B’nai Amoona, 324 South Mason Road, and are free and open to the community. On March 2, Rabbi Josef Davidson, will lead “Megillah Melodrama or Sometimes a Scepter Is(n’t) Just a Scepter”; on March 9, Rabbi Ari Hendin will lead “Gender, Sexuality, Power and Politics In Esther’s Time and Today”; on March 16, Rabbi Carnie Shalom Rose – “Purim Paradigms: Achashverosh, Mordechai and Esther as Archetypes for Personal Growth & Transformation.” For more information, call Barbara Shechter at 314-576-9990 ext. 126.
