B’nai Amoona offers pre-Passover workshops
Published March 30, 2011
Congregation B’nai Amoona will hold “Let My People Grow!” a series of pre-Passover workshops on Wednesday evenings, continuing from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on April 6 and April 13
On April 6, Rabbi Josef Davidson teaches “You’ll Wonder Where the Leaven Went.” Leavening is the process by which flour and water become bread. However, it is also a potent symbol linking the periods of Passover and the High Holy Days together over the span of six months, which separate them.
On April 13, Rabbi Carnie Shalom Rose teaches “Passover UnBound – Secrets of The Seder.” Rabbi Rose will discuss some of the most esoteric and intriguing elements of the Pesach Seder, with keen and fresh insights. For more information, call 314-576-9990.
