Bais Abraham hosts Rabbi Marc Gitler for a presentation on “David and Goliath and Saul: Reflections on the Classic Underdog Story” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 27. 

 Gitler is Leket Israel’s Director of Development-Western United States. He is a graduate of Yeshiva University, New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service as well as a Wexner Fellow, and he received smicha from Yeshivat Chovevei Torah. 

Gitler has extensive work experience teaching and building community in synagogues and Jewish organizations in the United States, Belarus wand El Salvador.
