Author Ronald H. Balson to speak at Brodsky Library

The Saul Brodsky Jewish Community Library’s “Holocaust Literature Series” will welcome author Ronald H. Balson for a discussion of his popular debut novel, “Once We Were Brothers” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 18.
Balson is a Chicago trial attorney, an educator and a writer. His novel is a fast-paced legal thriller that combines historical fact and personal drama to tell the compelling tale of two boys and a family who struggle to survive in war-torn Poland.
The Holocaust Literature Series is sponsored by Bill Solomon in memory of Karen Solomon.
The program will be held at the Jewish Federation Kopolow Building, 12 Millstone Campus Drive. There will be coffee and a book signing following the program.
