In response to the daily reminders of increased antisemitic incidents around the country, the local group “St. Louis Votes” is launching a new effort to maximize Jewish voter turnout in our region. The project aims to educate the community on Missouri’s early voting laws and emphasizes that all political affiliations—Republicans, Democrats and independents—are invited to participate.
“In a time of heightened antisemitism and extremism, the entire Jewish community’s voice needs to be heard. With violent assaults on Jews across the country and around the world, so much is at stake as Missourians cast their votes,” said St. Louis Votes’ CEO Benjamin D. Singer. “Your choices at the ballot box will shape the state and the country.”
Community members, volunteers and philanthropists are invited to a Zoom information session and early voting launch on Tuesday, July 23, at noon. Attendees will receive resources and guidance to assist others in their community with voting, emphasizing the importance of personal outreach to ensure success.
