Aish HaTorah and Congregation Shaare Emeth are co-sponsoring a blood drive on Sunday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in memory of Arianna Dougan. The blood drive will take place at Shaare Emeth, 11645 Ladue Road.

Eleven-year-old Arianna Dougan, better known as Ari, died in November 2017 from neuroblastoma, an aggressive form of cancer that develops in the nerve cells. She had been battling the disease since she was 3 years old.

Ari received more than 200 units of blood during her eight year battle with cancer. She believed in random acts of kindness, and her family wants to inspire others to give blood. This act of kindness ensures that blood will be available when other children, like Ari, need it to survive cancer treatment.
