Aish partners with JWRP for women’s trip to Israel
Published March 2, 2011
Aish St. Louis, for the second year, is teaming up with the Jewish Women’s Renaissance Project (JWRP) and planning to send a group of women to Israel from July 3 to 13. The group will visit and learn in such places as Tiberias, Tsfat, Masada and Jerusalem, where the group will spend Shabbat in the Old City and enjoy the opportunity to meet women who make a difference in Israel and the world today. The tour itself is free but does not include airfare. There are a limited number of flight scholarships available. Although geared toward moms with children up to college age, the trip is open to Jewish women of all ages and backgrounds. For more information and highlights from last year’s trip, go to www.jwrp.org or contact Mimi David at 314-862-2474 or [email protected]. To read essays from two of last year’s trip participants, visit the “Opinions” section of www.stljewishlight.com.
Women are invited to a wine, cheese and dessert party with music from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at Dave Simon’s Rock School, 1305 Baur Boulevard in Olivette.
The women of the JWRP/Aish 2010 Israel Trip are hosting the event, which will benefit this year’s Women’s Israel Trip. The cost is $18 per person. RSVP to Claire at 314-862-2474 or [email protected].
