AIPAC and Congregation B’nai Amoona are holding a community briefing by Leslie Levy Mirchin, AIPAC Director of Policy and Research in Israel. Mirchin will speak on “A View from Jerusalem: The Struggle in September” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 during a community program and dessert reception at B’nai Amoona, 324 South Mason Road.

This is her second tour with AIPAC, having served as a Congressional lobbyist in AIPAC’s Washington headquarters in the mid 1980’s. Leslie also worked on Capitol Hill for then-Congressman John Breckinridge (D-Ky.).
A Harvard Business School graduate, Mirchin helped launch and run two non-profit organizations in Boston, the Jewish Women’s Archive and Gateways. For nearly a decade, Mirchin served as Director of the U.S. office of HK Strategies, an Israeli-based consulting firm. Raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Mirchin currently lives in Ra’anana with her husband and three children.
