LOOKING BACK • Discussing plans for the 1978 Midwest Region of the National Conference of Synagogue Youth’s annual leadership seminar are (from left) Rhonda Stein; Moishe Greenwald, regional director; Marc Rosen and Adam Heyman.  The Shabbaton-Seminar was held the first weekend at Ft. Leonard Wood, where participants had use of two barracks and a tour of the U.S. Army post.  About 150 teenagers, including 50 from St. Louis, attended the Orthodox Jewish youth organization meeting, which was addressed by Rabbi Baruch Taub, national director.
