Jewish groups partner with International Institute for summer camp

Volunteer Sarah Baker, 15, works with campers during the petting zoo, which featured llamas, goats, rabbits and chickens brought by Eagle Eye Traveling Petting Zoo, which is based in Spanish Lake. The four-week summer camp for refugee families was organized by the Jewish Community Relations Council, Congregation Shaare Emeth, Congregation Temple Israel and United Hebrew Congregation. While their children attended the camp, parents were able to attend English classes at the Institute. The petting zoo, which featured llamas, goats, rabbits and chickens, all brought by Eagle Eye Traveling Petting Zoo, which is based in Spanish Lake.
