Do you know a teen or twentysomething headed to Israel in the next few months?

Rabbi Hershey Novack of Chabad on Campus says Birthright Israel trips like the one above (led by his wife, Chana Novack), are an important part of getting students to connect with Israel – and bringing an understanding of the Jewish State to campuses.

Ellen Futterman, Editor-in-Chief

The Jewish Light is looking for local high school and college-age students traveling to Israel this summer who would be willing to take a few short videos on their phone of the people, places, and events on their trip that most inspire them and/or make a strong impression. Each video should be no longer than 2 minutes.

For example, what was your favorite activity/site in Israel and why? Which place that you visited had the biggest impact and why?  What did you learn about life in Israel? Was it easy to connect with Israelis?

Students will be compensated for each video that is used.

For more information, please email Ellen Futterman at [email protected].

Be sure to include a daytime phone number, a short explanation of the Israel trip (Birthright, Israel Bound, etc.) or educational program that you are on, and the dates that you will be in Israel.
