The Siwak and Schuver Family spending a fun and meaningful day by donating part of what they picked during the Jewish Family & Children’s Service’s seventh annual “Feed the Pantry-Feed the Soul” fundraiser, held on Sunday, September 14 at Eckert’s Farms Millstadt.

The event raises food, financial support and community awareness for the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry. This year’s event surpassed previous years’ totals, raising more than $107,000 and collecting barrels of non-perishable food, plus lots of apples donated from those who picked them on site. Todd and Judy Taylor chaired this year’s event.
