Federation plans face-to face speed networking

Jewish Federation is bringing together sponsors and local companies and universities for face-to-face speed networking in a series of professional sessions called “Business Connections STL.”

The next event will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 17 at the BlackFinn American Grille on the north side of the St. Louis Galleria. Nearly 125 professionals are expected to attend.

“At a time when social networking seems to be replacing face-to-face networking, Jewish Federation speed networking events are a terrific change of pace,” said Federation sponsor Ken Poteet, Sterling Bank Chairman and CEO.

Other sponsors include the St. Louis Rams; Sheraton Clayton Plaza; Washington University; Maryville University; The Stolar Partnership; Cooperative Home Care; CLEAN, the Uniform Company; Capstone Development Group LLC, and CRA Investments LLC.

At each session, participants have a chance to introduce themselves and their business to the entire group. A roster of attendees will be shared with everyone.  The large networking sessions are augmented with smaller versions that bring together selected sponsors and appropriate prospects with unique and similar business interests.
