LOOKING BACK • Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin is embraced by President Jimmy Carter, with Egyptian President Anwar Sadat in the background, as the Camp David framework for peace is signed in a White House ceremony.  The Israeli-Egyptian peace treaty was signed on March 26, 1979.
