Children and teens from Congregation B’nai Amoona visited the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry recently. 

During pre-Shabbat services on Fridays, children brought items of food to be donated as well as change or small bills.  B’nai Amoona’s Panda Class took the money that was donated to purchase food for the Jewish Food Pantry.  After stopping by a grocery store to buy food, the group toured the food pantry, learning how the pantry operates and how much their donations are needed. They then sorted their donations.
