Sculptor Sandy Kaplan’s “Warhol’s Beauties” – 2020

Kaplan explains: “Andy Warhol bust sits on top of a wooden rectangular “box” that showcases Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland and Jackie Kennedy along with multiples of Warhol on each side.

Captured by his iconic art in multiples, I started working on this piece before I saw the Warhol exhibit at the Chicago Art Institute” in fall 2019.
