The Jewish Community Center will hold its 29th annual Tour de Fun on Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Staenberg Family Complex, 2 Millstone Campus Drive. Planned by an all-dad committee, the event offers a day of fun for children ages 10 and under and their families.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., children can enjoy a wide variety of activities. This year, there will be rides and inflatables, a climbing wall, a variety of vehicles to explore, a Dunk-a-Dad booth, a fitness obstacle course, booths with activities, pony rides, a petting zoo and a kosher lunch available for purchase from Kohn’s Kosher Meat and Deli, as well as cold treats from Frosty Treats.

Entertainment performances, held throughout the event, feature Jeff Lefton with Abra-kid-Abra, Serengetti Steve and Babaloo and appearances by “Juggling Jeff” and Mad Science.

Early registration is recommended but not required. Tour de Fun is $12 per child if registered by Aug. 23 and $18 thereafter. Adults are free. To register or for more information, visit tourdefun.com or contact Emilie Brockman at 314-442-3267 or [email protected].

All proceeds from the event support early childhood and family programming at the J. This year’s event chairs are Derrick Fishering and Aaron Wahl. Tour de Fun is planned by the Ruth & Harold Sher Center of Jewish Life and supported by the J Associates and a variety of sponsors.
