The St. Louis Rabbinical Association serves as the rabbinical presence in the Jewish and general communities. The membership comprises Conservative, Orthodox, Reconstructionist, Reform and Renewal rabbis in congregational and agency positions. The SLRA helps provide a voice for the Jewish community in St. Louis area media and through leadership in many inter-religious coalitions, interfaith dialogues and social service and advocacy organizations.
The SLRA sponsors several Jewish adult education opportunities and community information forums throughout the year, and co-sponsors (with the Jewish Community Relations Council) the Rabbi Robert P. Jacobs Jewish Fund for Human Needs. SLRA members meet monthly and also come together annually for a day of Jewish text study.
The association is funded through an annual community-wide campaign at Hanukkah.
Rabbi Noah Arnow of Kol Rinah is President.
